When Data is transferred to MySQL it appears as question mark (?). How to solve it ?
This may be the problem due to character set. When you select destination database as ‘MySQL’ choose the character set- ‘UTF8’ in choose destination page.

The ESF tool shows ‘Can’t Connect to host or database’ error ?
It may be because the MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Component) is not installed, before migration install the MDAC 2.8 and check the user credentials are correct. Disable firewall during DB migration.

Is there any option to increase data transfer speed for large objects in database ?
Yes, There is option to speed up file migration. From the settings select ‘Fetch Size=1000’ and ‘Batch Insert=1000’. Now the tool will insert more rows in single time increasing the data transfer speed.
