Microsoft Outlook is one of the popular email client used worldwide. We all receive marketing emails, newsletter subscription mails and many other unwanted mails. Moreover Marketing mails contains images and rich media and it makes the size of PST grow larger.<\/p>\n

Also one of the causes of large PST files is\u00a0Duplicate mails<\/strong>. Duplicate mails, messages created due to synchronization, same messages sent or received. This effect the performance of Outlook and delays in sending and receiving mails. It could also lead to corruption of PST file.<\/p>\n

So to avoid these issues, we must remove\u00a0Outlook Duplicates<\/strong>\u00a0in Outlook. There is manual method by which we can remove duplicate data in outlook free. We can use Clean Up feature for this task. Replicas are created in PST file du<\/p>\n

  1. Rules in Outlook are not correctly configured<\/li>\n
  2. Duplicate data created by merging files<\/li>\n
  3. Receiving same mails twice or thrice in case of non-delivery or any other issue<\/li>\n

    Steps to\u00a0Remove Duplicated Mails in Outlook 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Step 1:<\/strong>\u00a0First we have to check that\u00a0Account Rules<\/strong>\u00a0are properly configured and there is not any conflict.<\/p>\n

    Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Now we need to set up\u00a0Frequency of Inbox Update<\/strong>\u00a0i.e. interval to update mails in inbox<\/p>\n

    1. Open Outlook and click onSend\/Receive<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Select DefinedSend\/ Receive Groups<\/strong><\/li>\n

      2. Select the folder from where you want to remove duplicates like Inbox, Sent items, Contacts<\/li>\n
      3. Click on\u00a0Home tab<\/strong>\u00a0and select\u00a0CleanUp tools.\u00a0<\/strong>From the dropdown menu select options as per your need\n

        • To remove duplicate messages select\u00a0CleanUp conversation<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • To remove duplicate items from folder select\u00a0CleanUp Folder<\/strong>\u00a0options<\/li>\n
        • To remove messages, mails and other data select\u00a0Clean Up Folder and Subfolders\"outlook<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
