In the article I will guide you on how to change pst file size limit in Outlook 2013 by editing registry entries.<\/p>\n<p>The four registry entries which are determined to limit the size of PST file are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MaxFileSize<\/li>\n<li>WarnFileSize<\/li>\n<li>MaxLargeFileSize<\/li>\n<li>WarnLargeFileSize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While\u00a0 MaxFileSize and WarnFileSize registry entries are used with UNICODE pst file MaxLargeFileSize \u00a0and WarnLargeFileSize registry entries are used for ANSI pst files.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MaxLargeFileSize<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The value in this registry entry sets the maximum size of Unicode pst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WarnLargeFileSize<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The value in this registry entry sets warning level used with Unicode pst files.<\/p>\n<p>Steps to edit registry entries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type regedit in Windows search box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-210 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filerepairtools.com\/tips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/regedit.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"235\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now Click on regedit<\/li>\n<li>Registry Editor is now open , In the left pane explore to My Computer &gt; HKEY_CURRENT_USER &gt; Software &gt; Microsoft &gt; Office &gt; 15.0 &gt; Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>PST<\/strong>, and then right-click\u00a0<strong>MaxLargeFileSize<\/strong>\u00a0in the right pane.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Modify<\/strong>, and then type the value in the\u00a0<strong>Value data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the same way change the values for\u00a0<strong>WarnFileSize,<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>MaxLargeFileSize<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>WarnLargeFileSize<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Note You may have to create the registry values if they do not exist.
